Advisory Council

In June 1991, the WREI Board of Directors established WREI's Advisory Council. It is composed of leaders who share an interest in issues confronting today's American women and who support WREI's goals and mission. The Advisory Council provides

• a forum for members of the business community;
• an opportunity for organized labor and other interested individuals to engage in dialogue with policymakers to move women's equity issues forward;
• a way for the business community to increase the visibility of women's issues; and
• a network of informed members of the corporate, labor, and academic communities.
